- এরা সাধারণত - infinitive/ bare infinitive/ verb + ing/ verb এর past participle form এভাবে বসে।
যেমন:
- We persuaded them to join us.
- I don’t like you cleaning your boots over the sink.

• প্রশ্নে উল্লেখিত বাক্যে, ‘starting’ verb টি কোনো tense নির্দেশ করে না।

• Finite verb
- একটি বাক্যে উপস্থিত subject এবং verb দেখে যখন tense চেনা যাবে, তখন সে বাক্যে  Finite verb উপস্থিত থাকে। নীচের উদাহরণ গুলো খেয়াল করি - 
- We want Charlie to act as club secretary.
- I saw a deer run across the road.
