Mortaza Bashir drew the picture in Linocote in 1252 under the title 'Bloody 21' on the events of 21st February, which was first published in 1953 in the compilation 'Ekushey February' edited by Hasan Hafizur Rahman. ‘Bloody 21’ is considered to be the first painting on the language movement.
