Who is the father of modern English Poetry?

Geoffrey Chaucer is the father of modern English Poetry.
His best writings are Canterbury Tales, Troilus and Criseyde.
He is also called Father of English Language, Father of English literature, First Humourist in English Literature, The First great Modernist.
