• William Wordsworth (1770 -1850) is known as the 'Poet of Nature'.
- He is one of the major poets of the Romantic Period.
- William Wordsworth রচিত Lyrical Ballads এর প্রকাশনার মাধ্যমে Romantic Period এর সূচনা হয় বলে তাকে The father od Romantic Age বলা হয়।
- যদিও Lyrical Ballads, William Wordsworth and Samuel Taylor এর যৌথ প্রকাশনা কিন্তু এই প্রকাশনায় William Wordsworth এর অবদান ছিল সর্বোচ্চ।
