In case: এটি কোনো সম্ভাব্য ভবিষ্যৎ পরিস্থিতি বা ঘটনার জন্য পূর্ব প্রস্তুতি বা সতর্কতা বোঝাতে ব্যবহৃত হয়।
Example: I will write down your phone number in case I forget

Other options:
ক) Lest: Lest অর্থ হচ্ছে পাছে কিছু ঘটে এই ভয়ে। Lest এর পর Subject থাকলে verb এর পূর্বে should বসে।
Example: Walk fast lest you should miss the train.

গ) Since:দুটি clause এর মাঝে বসে অতীতকাল হতে বর্তমান পর্যন্ত কোন কাজের সময় নির্দেশ করতে ব্যবহৃত হয়।
Example: They have been living in that house since they were children.

ঘ) Otherwise: Otherwise অর্থ হচ্ছে অন্যথায়।কোন কিছু করা না হলে তার ফলাফল কি হত/হবে তা প্রকাশ করতে otherwise বা অন্যথায় ব্যবহৃত হয়।
Example: Walk quickly, otherwise you will not get the bus.
