• Comparative degree তে সবচেয়ে বড় বুঝাতে than any other বা than all other ব্যবহৃত হয়। 
- Than all other এরপর plural noun বসে এবং than any other এর পর singular noun বসে।
- তাই নিয়মানুযায়ী, 
- The Meghna is bigger than all other rivers in Bangladesh. (all other এরপর plural rivers বসেছে) বাক্যটি সঠিক।

• অন্যদিকে, 
ক)  বাক্যটিতে any other এরপর plural noun হিসেবে players এর বদলে singular player হলে বাক্যটি সঠিক হত।
- সঠিক বাক্য - Karim is better than any other player in the team.

খ) বাক্যে all other এরপর singular noun এসেছে তাই ভুল।
- সঠিক বাক্য -  Polash is more studious than all other students in the class.

ঘ)  বাক্যটি ভুল কারণ, -বাক্যটিতে more bigger এর স্থলে bigger হবে, কারন -er যুক্ত comparative এর সাথে কখনোই more বসবে না।
- সঠিক বাক্য - The Nile is bigger than any other river in Africa.
