Clause ও phrase এর পার্থক্য:
Clause এর মধ্যে অবশ্যই একটি Finite Verb বা সমাপিকা ক্রিয়া থাকবে; কিন্তু Verb Phrase ব্যতিত অন্যান্য Phrase এর মধ্যে কোন Finite Verb বা সমাপিকা ক্রিয়া থাকবে না। অন্য কথায় Clause এর মধ্যে Verb - Tense এর Structure অনুযায়ী থাকবে, কিন্তু Phrase এর মধ্যে Verb নাও থাকতে পারে, আর যদি থাকে তাহলে Tense এর Structure অনুযায়ী থাকবে না।
