Which is the top country to send peacekeepers to the UN at present?

Bangladesh has achieved two successes in UN peacekeeping missions. One is that Bangladesh has risen to the first position again after being in the second position for a long time as the country sending the highest number of peacekeepers in this mission. According to the United Nations, the total number of Bangladeshi peacekeepers in the peacekeeping mission rose to 6,631 on August 31. Through this, Bangladesh gained the status of the highest peacekeeper sending country.
The second success is a Bangladeshi army officer Major General. Main Ullah Chowdhury has been elected Deputy Force Commander of the United Nations Peacekeeping Mission in South Sudan.
