The Neoclassical Period (1660-1785):
The Neoclassical Age comprises three shorter ages:
The Restoration Period (1660-1700)
The Augustan Age (1702-1745)
The Age of Sensibility (1745-1785)
Writer of Neoclassical Period imitated style of ancient Greek and Roman writers. Though they imitated the Greek and Roman tradition but lacked the originality of the writers of that period.
