What is the primary characteristic of Alliteration?

• Alliteration: (অনুপ্রাস)
- The Repetition of a consonant at the beginning of two or more words or stressed syllables is called Alliteration.
- যখন পরস্পর সম্পর্কযুক্ত বা পাশাপাশি স্থাপিত শব্দের শুরুতে একই বর্ণ বা একই ধরনের উচ্চারণ থাকে তাকে অনুপ্রাস (Alliteration) বলে।
- এটি একটি সাহিত্যকৌশল, যেখানে কোনো শব্দের প্রথম ধ্বনি বা বর্ণ এক বা একাধিক পরবর্তী শব্দে পুনরাবৃত্তি হয়। এটি সাধারণত কবিতা বা গদ্যের শৈলীতে ব্যবহার করা হয় এবং এর মাধ্যমে সুর, ছন্দ এবং মানসিক প্রভাব তৈরি হয়।
- Alliteration শব্দ বা বাক্যাংশের ছন্দ ও সুর সৃষ্টি করে, যা পাঠক বা শ্রোতাদের মনোযোগ আকর্ষণ করতে সাহায্য করে।

• Examples of Alliteration -
1.
'The fair breeze blew, the white foam flew,
The furrow followed free.'
- এখানে 'f' এবং 'b' দ্বারা শুরু হওয়া শব্দ পাশাপাশি বসেছে অর্থাৎ consonant sound এর repetition ঘটেছে।

'Puffs, powders, patches, Bibles, billet-doux' is an example of Alleteration.
Here 'p' has been repeated thrice and 'b' twice.

3. She sells seashells by the seashore.
- এখানে 's' ধ্বনির পুনরাবৃত্তি করা হয়েছে।

4. Peter Piper picked a peck of pickled peppers.
- এখানে, 'p' ধ্বনির পুনরাবৃত্তি ঘটেছে।
