What is a "Hymn" in literature?

Hymn শব্দটি সাহিত্যে বোঝায় একটি গীতিকবিতা (lyric poem) যা সাধারণত প্রশংসা বা বন্দনার উদ্দেশ্যে লেখা হয়, বিশেষ করে ঈশ্বর বা কোনো দেবতার উদ্দেশ্যে।

• Hymn:
- A lyric poem or song in praise of God is called Hymn.
- সাধারণত এটি religious emotion প্রকাশের উদ্দেশ্যে chorus দ্বারা গাওয়া।
- Edmund Spenser এর 'Foere Hymnes', and John Keats 'Hymn to Apollo' are some of the well-known hymns in English literature.
- Martin Luther’s “A Mighty Fortress Is Our God” and Shelly’s “Hymn of Apollo” are some of the well-known hymns in English.
