We said to the chairman, "Let us drop the matter." (make it indirect)

♦ Narration এ,

Direct speech এ Let us থাকলে Indirect speech এ রূপান্তর করার নিয়ম: 

• Structure - Subject + propose/suggest (tense অনুযায়ী) + to + object + that + they/we (person অনুযায়ী) + should + reporting speech এর মূল verb থেকে শেষ পর্যন্ত। 
Direct: We said to the chairman, "Let us drop the matter."
Indirect:
- We proposed to the chairman that we should drop the matter.
