→ Compound: Take care of your health, or you will fall ill.

Complex Sentence → Compound Sentence রূপান্তরের নিয়ম:
- Complex sentence-এ subordinate clause থাকে, যা subordinating conjunction (যেমন: unless, if, because, although, since, when ইত্যাদি) দ্বারা যুক্ত হয়।
- Compound sentence তৈরি করতে two independent clauses যুক্ত করতে হয় coordinating conjunction (যেমন: and, but, or, so, yet, for, nor) ব্যবহার করে।
- "Unless" এর অর্থ "if not" বা "otherwise" বোঝায়। তাই Compound sentence করার সময় "or" ব্যবহার করতে হয়।

অর্থাৎ যদি Complex Sentence-টি "Unless" দিয়ে শুরু হয় এবং এর পরে Second Person (you) থাকে, তাহলে Compound Sentence-এ রূপান্তর করার সময়:
- Unless এবং you বাদ যাবে।
- দুই clause-এর মাঝে "or" যুক্ত হবে।
- Main clause অপরিবর্তিত থাকবে।

উল্লেখ্য, দুটি independent clause যুক্ত করতে coordinating conjunction ব্যবহার করতে হবে। Complex sentence-এ "Unless" থাকলে, Compound করতে "or" বসাতে হবে।
