- Simple sentence করার জন্য subordinate clause-কে phrase-এ রূপান্তর করতে হয়।
- "Although he was poor" → "in spite of being poor" দ্বারা প্রকাশ করা যায়।
- বাক্যের মূল অর্থ পরিবর্তন না করে একটি মাত্র clause-এ আনতে হয়।
- তাই সঠিক simple sentence: He was honest in spite of being poor.

• Other options:
ক) "He was poor but honest." → এটি compound sentence, কারণ but দুইটি independent clause যোগ করছে।

গ) "He was poor and honest." → এটি মূল বাক্যের contrast সম্পর্ক প্রকাশ করে না, অর্থ বদলে যায়।

ঘ) "He was poor so he was honest." → এটি ভুল কারণ এখানে cause-effect বোঝায়, যা মূল বাক্যের ভাবের সাথে মিলছে না।
