- সুতরাং, এই উক্তিটি Aphorism এর একটি উদাহরণ।
- উক্তিটি Alexander Pope এর An essay on criticism হতে উদ্ধৃত।

• Aphorism: A terse, memorable expression of a universal truth.
- A brief, clever statement that usually contains a general or universal truth is called an Aphorism.
- The use of Aphorism reflects the range of an author's experience and adds universality to the text in which it is used.
- Aphorism is different from a proverb: A proverb is an anonymous expression of a general truth while an aphorism is a truth takes out of one's personal experience.
- Proverbs are traditional but aphorisms are individual.

• অন্যদিকে,
• Alliteration:
- The Repetition of a consonant at the beginning of two or more words or stressed syllables is called Alliteration.
- যখন পরস্পর সম্পর্কযুক্ত বা পাশাপাশি স্থাপিত শব্দের শুরুতে একই বর্ণ বা একই ধরনের উচ্চারণ থাকে তাকে অনুপ্রাস (Alliteration) বলে।

• Onomatopoeia: 
- The act of creating or using words that include sounds that are similar to the noises the words refer to.
- আমরা বাংলায় বলি অনুকার অব্যয়। বৃষ্টির ঝমঝম শব্দ, ঘড়ির টিকটিক শব্দ, হাওয়ার শনশন শব্দ ইত্যাদি অনুকার অব্যয়ের উদাহরণ।
- এই ধরণের শব্দ ধ্বণির অণুকরণে গঠিত হয়।
- যেমন: ঘড়ির কাঁটা টিকটক শব্দ করে বলে ইংরেজিতে এটিকে ঘড়ির শব্দের বোঝাতে ব্যবহৃত হয়।
- তাই, এটি Onomatopoeia-এর উদাহরণ।

• Oxymoron:
- A figure of speech in which apparently contradictory words are put together
- Paradox  এবং Oxymoron এর মাঝে পার্থক্য: Paradox এর মাঝে একাধিক বাক্য বা বিবৃতি অন্তর্ভুক্ত হতে পারে, কিন্তু Oxymoron এর মাঝে কেবল দুটি বিপরীতার্থক শব্দ পাশাপাশি বসবে।

- All changed, changed utterly:
A terrible beauty is born.
