- এগুলো বাক্যে ব্যবহৃত হয়ে noun বা noun এর মত পদগুলোকে modify করে।
- এখানে “I lost” phrase টি Noun "the book” কে modify করেছে। তাই এটি adjective clause হবে।

• Adjective Clause:
- Adjective সাধারণত Noun এর আগে বা Linking verb এর পরে বসে। কিন্তু Adjective Clause সর্বদা Noun এর পরে বসে।
- Adjective Clause সাধারণত Relative Pronoun ( who, which, that, whom, whose, of which) ও Relative Adverb (Why, where, when, how, as) ইত্যাদি দ্বারা শুরু হয়।
