Positive: This book is as interesting as that one.
Comparative: That book is not more interesting than this one.

• As......as যুক্ত Positive Degree-কে Comparative Degree- তে রূপান্তরিত করার নিয়ম:-
- শেষের Subject টি প্রথমে বসে,
- verb + not + Positive Degree--এর Comparative form,
- than + প্রদত্ত Sentence-এর প্রথম Subject.

Other options:
ক) That book is not as interesting as this one.
- ভুল কারণ, এটি একটি Positive Degree-এর বাক্য, Comparative Degree এর নয়।

খ) That book is less interesting than this one.
- ভুল কারণ, বাক্যটি Comparative Degree তে থাকলেও বাক্যের অর্থ বদলে গিয়েছে। তাই Sentence transformation অনুযায়ী এটি সঠিক নয়।

গ) That book is more interesting than this one.
- ভুল কারণ, বাক্যটি Comparative Degree তে থাকলেও বাক্যের অর্থ বদলে গিয়েছে। তাই Sentence transformation অনুযায়ী এটি সঠিক নয়।
