- Correct answer: The work was finished and we left the office.

• Being যুক্ত Simple Sentence কে Compound sentence কে রূপান্তরের নিয়ম:
- Being এর বাকী অংশে যে tense আছে being কেও সেই Tense এ গঠন করতে হবে।
- Sentence দুটির মাঝে And বসে।
- being যুক্ত বাক্যে subject না থাকলে একই subject টি 'being' অংশের প্রথমে বসে।

• Simple Sentence: The work being finished, we left the office.
• Compound Sentence: The work was finished and we left the office.

Other Options:
ক) The work was finished but we left the office.
- “but” ব্যবহার করলে বিপরীত বা বিরোধ প্রকাশ হয়, কিন্তু মূল বাক্যে কোনো বিরোধ নেই।

খ) We left the office because the work was finished.
- “because” ব্যবহার করলে অর্থ পরিবর্তিত হয়ে কারণ নির্দেশ করা হয়। মূল বাক্য কেবল কাজ শেষ হওয়ার পরের ঘটনার ক্রম বোঝাচ্ছে।

ঘ) We left the office and the work was finished.
- বাক্যের ক্রম পরিবর্তিত হয়েছে; মনে হচ্ছে আমরা আগে অফিস ছেড়েছি, তারপর কাজ শেষ হয়েছে।
