• Optative sentence এর ক্ষেত্রে, Optative Sentence এর Direct form কে Indirect form এ রূপান্তর করার নিয়ম:
- "said" এর পরিবর্তে wished/ prayed বসবে,
- inverted comma উঠে গিয়ে that বসবে,
- reported speech এর subject বসে+ may/ might বসে,
- reported verb এর মূল verb থেকে শেষ পর্যন্ত অংশ বসে।

Direct: The teacher said, "May Allah help you."
Indirect: The teacher prayed that Allah might help me.
