- Heroic couplets ব্যবহার করে এটি রচনা করা হয়েছে।

- Belinda বা Arabella Fermor নামের এক মেয়ে এখানে প্রধান চরিত্র যার চুলের বেনি বা একগুচ্ছ চুল কেটে ফেলে অপর একজন যুবক Baron বা Lord Petre.
- শেষ পর্যন্ত এই চুলের বেনী স্থান পায় নক্ষত্রলোকে ।
