∴ m = 18 - t .......(1)

And,
8000m + 12000t = 188,000
⇒ 2m + 3t = 47 ; [Dividing by 4,000]
⇒ 2(18 - t) + 3t = 47 ; [From (1)]
⇒ 36 - 2t + 3t = 47
⇒ t = 47 - 36
∴ t = 11

∴ The number of tabs sold is 11.
