The old man said, 'Could I get some money.' (Change to indirect speech)

Optative Sentence এর Direct Speech থেকে Indirect Speech এ রূপান্তর করা নিয়ম:
- Reported speech-Allah/God-এর উল্লেখ না থাকলে এবং কোন ইচ্ছা/কামনা বুঝালে say/said এর বদলে Indirect Speech-এ wish/wished ব্যবহৃত হয়।
- তখন structure-টি হবে নিম্নরূপ:
Wish + that + Subject + might + V

Example:
Direct: The old man said, 'Could I get some money.'
Indirect: The old man wished that he could/might get some money.

Direct: The mother said to her so, 'May you pass the exam.'
Indirect: The mother wished that her son might pass the exam.
