• উক্ত বাক্যটি একটি Direct Narration ও Exclamatory Sentence.
- Direct Speech দ্বারা ভয়, ডর, আতঙ্ক ইত্যাদি বুঝালে Reporting Verb পরিবর্তিত হয়ে exclaimed with fear হয়।
- Direct Speech এর reported verb টি present indefinite হলে
- Indirect Speech এ reported verb টি past indefinite হবে।
যেমন:  
Direct: The man said, "What a terrible storm it is!"
Indirect: The man exclaimed with fear that it was a very terrible storm.
