• উল্লেখিত প্রশ্নে on the right এর part টুকু noun the house কে modify করছে বিধায় এটি adjective phrase হয়েছে। 
- আর যে phrase Preposition দিয়ে শুরু হয়, কিন্তু Adjective Phrase বা Adverb Phrase এর মতো কাজ করে তাকে Prepositional Phrase বলে।

যেমন -
- A man of high intellect often feels lonely. (Prepositional Phrase/ Adjective Phrase)
- He is a man of great wealth. (Prepositional Phrase/ Adjective Phrase).

- যে phrase গুলো sentence - এ adjective এর মত কাজ করে, অর্থ্যাৎ Noun এর অবস্থা, দোষ-গুণ ইত্যাদি প্রকাশ করে, সেই phrase গুলোকে Adjective Phrase বলে।
-  Noun এর পর যদি কোন clause/Phrase বসে তাহলে সেটি Adjective clause/Phrase হবে।
