Correct answer: The girl went to the market to buy vegetables.

Complex: The girl went to the market so that she could buy vegetables.
Simple: The girl went to the market to buy vegetables.

• So that যুক্ত complex sentence কে simple sentence করার নিয়ম:
প্রদত্ত sentence-এর প্রথম থেকে so that-এর পূর্ব পর্যন্ত বসে।
so that + subject + may/might/can/could উঠে যায়।
এরপর to বসে।
তারপর মূল verb-এর base form বসে।
Structure: Subject + Verb + Extension + to + base verb + object/extension.

এখানে “so that she could buy” পরিবর্তিত হয়ে শুধু “to buy” হয়েছে।

Other Options:
ক) The girl went to the market to she could buy vegetables.
“to” এর পরে subject + modal বসে না; base verb বসে। তাই ভুল।

গ) The girl went to the market for she could buy vegetables.
“for she could buy” structure ভুল।

ঘ) The girl went to the market that she could buy vegetables.
“so that” বাদ দিয়ে শুধু “that” বসালে simple sentence হয় না।
