Active: The company offered the new employees excellent benefits.
Passive: Excellent benefits were offered to the new employees by the company.
Active: The jeweler promised the bride a beautiful ring.
Passive: A beautiful ring was promised to the bride by the jeweler.
So, the correct passive form - His new book was dedicated to his wife by the author.
