- prepositional phrase সাধারণত preposition দিয়ে শুরু হয় এবং noun দিয়ে শেষ হয়।

ঘ) Adjective phrase:
- যে phrase গুলো sentence -এ adjective -এর মত কাজ করে, অর্থাৎ Noun/Pronoun -কে modify করে, সেই phrase গুলোকে Adjective phrase বলে।
- Noun/pronoun -এর পর যদি কোনো clause/phrase বসে ঐ noun/pronoun -কে modify করে তাহলে সেটি Adjective phrase হবে।
- The car is economical for its size.
