♦ Compound Sentence (যৌগিক বাক্য)• At least দুটি Clauses থাকবে এবং সেই Clause কেই হতে হবে Independent Clauses.• Co-ordinate Conjunction যেমন and, or, but, for, yet, so, therefore, otherwise, else ইত্যাদি দ্বারা যুক্ত থাকে।যেমন-• Work hard and you can prosper in life.• Do or die.• She is absent, for she is sick.• Do the work, else I will punish you.• She is absent, for she is sick.- for অর্থ এখানে 'কারণ'।- for একটি Co-ordinate Conjunction, আর Co-ordinate Conjunction দিয়ে যখন দুটি Clause যুক্ত হয় তখন তাকে বলা হয় Compound Sentence.
