কিছু কিছু ক্ষেত্রে Preposition উহ্য থাকে, তাই Preposition এর Object হিসেবে এগুলোকে Noun Clause বিবেচনা করা হয়। যেমন-
She did not seem hopeful (of) that he would arrive.
এখানে of - preposition উহ্য আছে।

** এটাতে Confusion লেগে যেতে পারে, কারণ এটা মনে হতে পারে Adjective (hopeful) কে Modify করছে, বিধায় Adverbial Clause.
কিন্তু ‘that he would arrive’ এখানে মূলত একটি উহ্য Preposition (of অর্থাৎ hopeful of) এর Object. এ হিসেবে এটি Noun Clause.
