than-যুক্ত comparative degree-কে positive degree-তে রূপান্তরের সময় নিচের নিয়মটি প্রয়োগ করতে হয়ঃ
i) প্রদত্ত sentence-এর than-এর পরের অংশ প্রথমে বসে। ii) Verb বসে + iii) মূল sentenceটি affirmative হলে not বসে; কিন্তু মূল sentence negative হলে not উঠে যায়। + iv) so বসে + v) Comparative degree-এর Positive form বসে। + vi) as + vii) প্রদত্ত sentence-এর প্রথম subject বসে।
