- Maurya নামক একজন বৃদ্ধ মহিলার জীবনের কঠিন দুঃখ -দুর্দশা এবং বেদনার চিত্র বর্ণিত হয়েছে এই নাটকে , যিনি তার ছোট ছেলে Bartley ছাড়া, পরিবারের সকল পুরুষ সদস্যদের কে সাগরের ঝড়ের মাঝে বিভিন্ন সময়ে হারিয়ে ফেলেছেন.
