সঠিক উত্তরটি হচ্ছে - Now that he had completed his work, he started for home.  
- দুইটি অতীত কালের বর্ণনা দেয়া হলে যে কাজটি আগে ঘটেছিল তার tense টি হয় past perfect tense. 
- দুইটি অতীত কালের কাজ বুঝালে এবং একটির আগে when, until, once, now that, as soon as ইত্যাদি conjunction থাকলে, পরবর্তী verb টি past perfect tense হয়। 
- এখানে ‘now that’ conjunction থাকায় তার পরের verb টি হবে had completed.
