• Tag question করার নিয়ম:
- Tag question ব্যবহার করা হয় উক্তিটি সত্য না মিথ্যা তা নিশ্চিত করার জন্য।
- Statement positive হলে tag question টি negative এবং negative হলে positive হবে।
- Subject ও tense অনুসারে auxiliary verb দ্বারা tag question হয়।

• Tag question এর নিয়ম অনুসারে:
- Everyone, everybody, somebody, someone, anybody, anyone, no one, nobody, ইত্যাদি দ্বারা sentence শুরু হলে tag-question এর subject হিসেবে they বসে।
- No one, Nobody - negative অর্থ দেয় তাই, এদের tag question - positive হবে।

- প্রদত্ত Sentence টি past indefinite tense -এ আছে, তাই Auxiliary verb হিসেবে 'did' বসবে (subject they).
- অর্থাৎ, Tag question এর নিয়মানুযায়ী বাক্যটি Negative হওয়ায় Tag question টি Affirmative হবে।
- সুতরাং, নিয়মানুযায়ী সঠিক tag question টি হবে- did they?
