• Complete Sentence: No sooner had we reached the station than the train left.

• "No sooner" একটি negative adverbial phrase, যা দুটি কাজ খুব কাছাকাছি সময়ে ঘটেছে বোঝাতে ব্যবহৃত হয়।
- এটি সবসময় inversion (auxiliary verb আগে) এবং "than" এর সঙ্গে ব্যবহৃত হয়।

• Structure: No sooner + had + subject + V3 + than + subject + V2
- No sooner had we reached the station than the train left.
- (আমরা স্টেশনে পৌঁছানোর সঙ্গে সঙ্গেই ট্রেনটি ছেড়ে দিল।)

• Other options:
ক) the train left. : incomplete without “than”.

গ) when the train left. : “when” ব্যবহৃত হয় না “no sooner” এর সঙ্গে।

ঘ) then the train left. : “then” নয়, “than” দরকার।
