- No sooner had যুক্ত বাক্য পূর্ণ করার ক্ষেত্রে 'No sooner' এর সাথে সব সময় 'than' বসে।
- 'No sooner had' যুক্ত অংশে Past Perfect Tense থাকে, আর 'than' এর পরের অংশে Past Indefinite Tense বসে।

• No sooner had, Hardly had, Scarcely had এবং As soon as সবগুলোই "করতে না করতেই/ হতে না হতেই" এ রকম অর্থে ব্যবহৃত হয়।
