Blockchain এর প্রথম ব্লকের নাম -

ব্লকচেইন: এই সিস্টেমে প্রতিটি ব্লক এক একটি একাউন্ট যার প্রতিটি লেনদেন ব্যবস্থাপনা চেইন আকারে পরিচালিত হয়। প্রত্যেকটি ব্লক হ্যাশিং (Hashing) এর মাধ্যমে উচ্চ মানের নিরাপত্তা নিশ্চিত করে যার ফলে কেউই এখানে হস্তক্ষেপ করতে পারে না।

সহজ ভাষায় বললে, ব্লকচেইন হচ্ছে ব্লকের চেইন।
এটি তথ্য সংরক্ষণ করার একটি নিরাপদ এবং উন্মুক্ত পদ্ধতি। এ পদ্ধতিতে তথ্য বিভিন্ন ব্লকে একটির পর একটি চেইন আকারে সংরক্ষণ করা হয়।

একটি সাধারণ Block এ-
ক) A hash pointer to the previous block
খ) Timestamp এবং
গ) List of transactions এই ৩টি অংশই থাকে।

তবে, একমাত্র জেনেসিস ব্লক ছাড়া সব ব্লকেই ক) A hash pointer to the previous block থাকে। জেনেসিস ব্লক হচ্ছে ব্লকচেইনের প্রথম ব্লক। 
The Genesis Block
The first block in the blockchain is called the genesis block and was created in 2009.
It is the common ancestor of all the blocks in the blockchain, meaning that if you start at any block and follow the chain backward in time, you will eventually arrive at the genesis block.
