My friend said, “Long live our country!” (Make it indirect)

• Narration এর নিয়মানুযায়ী,
- Optative sentence এর ক্ষেত্রে, Optative Sentence এর Direct form কে Indirect form এ রূপান্তর করার নিয়ম:
- said এর পরিবর্তে wished / prayed বসবে।
- inverted comma উঠে গিয়ে that বসবে।
- reported speech এর subject বসে + may/ might বসে
- reported verb এর মূল verb থেকে শেষ পর্যন্ত অংশ বসে।

• Long live country মূলত May country live long. ছিল।
- তাই এটা ধরে নিয়ে Narration Change করতে হবে।
- নিয়ম অনুযায়ী, may - might হবে এবং Subject এর পরে বসবে।

• সুতরাং, নিয়মানুযায়ী,
- Direct Narration: My friend said, “Long live our country!”
- Indirect Narration: My friend wished that our country might live long.
