• Complete sentence: My brother, as well as his friends, has arrived.

• Sub-verb agreement অনুসারে,
- With, together with, along with, as well as, in addition to, accompanied with/by, and not, including, excluding, but, except ইত্যাদি দ্বারা কোনো noun বা pronoun যুক্ত হলে, verb সর্বদা প্রথম subject (noun/ pronoun) অনুযায়ী হবে।
- অর্থাৎ, প্রথম noun/ pronoun টি singular হলে verb টি singular হবে।
- আবার প্রথম noun/ pronoun টি plural হলে verb টি plural হবে।
- যেমন: My brother, as well as his friends, has arrived.
- এখানে প্রথম subject - My brother (singular ), তাই has (present perfect) ব্যবহার হয়েছে।

- present perfect (arrived) আছে তাই was না হয়ে has হবে।
