Mina says, "My father teaches me mathematics. (Make it indirect)

Direct speech: Mina says, "My father teaches me mathematics.
Indirect speech: Mina says that her father teaches her mathematics.
- উল্লিখিত প্রশ্নে Reporting verb "says" এখানে present tense এ আছে। তাই reported speech-এ verb এর tense পরিবর্তন হবে না। Reporting verb-এর পরে যেহেতু এখানে object নেই, তাই told ব্যবহার না করে "says" ব্যবহারই সঠিক।

• Direct speech এর reporting verb যদি Present tense বা Future tense থাকে, সেক্ষেত্রে (Direct speech) কে (Indirect speech)- এ রূপান্তর এর নিয়ম:
- Reported speech এর verb এর tense পরিবর্তন হয় না।
- কেবল person পরিবর্তিত হয়,
- অর্থাৎ, 1st person (I, we) থাকলে Reporting Verb এর Subject অনুযায়ী পরিবর্তন হয়।
- 2nd person (you) থাকলে Reporting Verb এর Object অনুযায়ী পরিবর্তন হয়।
- Reported speech এর 3rd person এর কোন পরিবর্তন হয় না।
