• Positive degree তে so-as থাকলে comparative করতে than বসে
- প্রথমে Object 'Diamond', Subject হয়।
- verb বসে।
- not বসে (মূল sentence টি affirmative হলে, কিন্তু মূল sentence টি negative হলে not উঠে যায়)।
- positive degree এর comparative form বসে।
- than বসে।
- প্রদত্ত sentence এর প্রথম subject টি বসে।

Positive: Gold is not so bright as Diamond.
Comparative: Diamond is brighter than Gold.
