Major Ryaan said to the soldiers, "Fire on." (Indirect)

♦ Narration এর ক্ষেত্রে,

• Imperative Sentence- এর Direct speech কে Indirect speech এ রূপান্তর করার নিয়ম: 
- Reporting verb টি আদেশ বুঝালে order/command, উপদেশ বুঝালে advise, তা না হলে tell দ্বারা পরিবর্তিত হয়;
- Inverted comma উঠে গিয়ে to বসে;
- reported speech এর মুল verb থেকে শেষ পর্যন্ত বসে.

Structure: Subject + request/ order/ advise/ tell + object (যদি থাকে) + to + reported speech এর মুল verb থেকে শেষ পর্যন্ত বসে। 

Direct: Major Ryaan said to the soldiers, "Fire on."
Indirect: Major Ryaan commanded the soldiers to fire on.
