Indirect Narration এ Past Perfect থাকলে তিনটি Tense হওয়ার সম্ভাবনা আছে (যা নির্ধারিত হবে Adverb of Time, Conjunction ইত্যাদির উপর ভিত্তি করে)। যথা:- Present Perfect - Past Indefinite - Past Perfectযেহেতু এখানে the previous day উল্লেখ করা আছে, তাই এটা Past Indefinite Tense হওয়াই বাঞ্ছনীয়। আর the previous day এর পরিবর্তে yesterday ব্যবহৃত হবে। সে অনুসারে সঠিক direct form: Kollol said to me, “Koli did not go there yesterday.”
