we know that, profit ratio = investing ratio

ATQ,
(9000 × 24)/(p × 12) = 3 : 2
or, (9000 × 24) : 12p = 3 : 2
or, (9000 × 24)/12p = 3/2
or, 36p = (2 × 24 × 9000)
or, p = (48 × 9000)/36
∴ p = 12000
