Joseph is as disciplined as Tom. (Comparative)

Positive কে Comparative করতে হলে চারটি কাজ করতে হয়:
1. Subject- Predicate হয়, Predicate - Subject হয়
2. Affirmative -Negative হয়, Negative Affirmative হয়
3. Degree change হয়
4. Indicator Change হয় (as... as/ so....as --> than/ the)
এ হিসাবে সঠিক উত্তর : Tom is not more industrious than Joseph.

অথবা ২য় পদ্ধতি হচ্ছে- 1 no কাজ (Subject- Predicate এর অবস্থান পরিবর্তন) না করে
less+Positive Degree দিয়ে Comparative Degree গঠন করা এবং বাকী কাজগুলো করা।
যেমন- Joseph is not less industrious than Tom.
