English Meaning: Not moving or not able to move.
Bangla Meaning:
(১) জড়; অচেতন: inert matter.
(২) সক্রিয় রাসায়নিক গুণবর্জিত; নিষ্ক্রিয়: inert gases.
(৩) (দেহ ও মনে) ভারী ও মন্থর; জড়; নিশ্চেষ্ট।
 
Synonyms: Motionless (গতিহীন; নিশ্চল), Inactive (অক্রিয়; নিষ্ক্রিয়), Static (স্থিত; অনড়/স্থির অবস্থায়), Idle (অলস), Unused (অব্যবহৃত)।
Antonyms: Moving (চলনশীল), Active (সক্রিয়). Busy(ব্যস্ত), Functioning (চালু থাকা, কাজ করা), Working (কার্যরত)।
