• He held the book close to his face to read the small print.<br />- এখানে 'close' শব্দটি দ্বারা বুঝাচ্ছে "সে কীভাবে বইটি ধরে রেখেছে?' <br />- উত্তর হচ্ছে 'close to his face'. <br />- অর্থাৎ held (verb) সম্পর্কে অতিরিক্ত তথ্য দিচ্ছে। <br />- তাই, close হচ্ছে adverb.
