Compound sentence এ রূপান্তরের নিয়ম:
- মূল বাক্যটি একটি Simple sentence, যেখানে "In spite of his being poor" একটি prepositional phrase.
- এটিকে compound sentence-এ রূপান্তরের জন্য দুটি independent clause প্রয়োজন যা coordinating conjunction দ্বারা যুক্ত হবে।
- তাই সঠিক compound sentence হবে: He is poor, but he is honest.
