In literature, what is a soliloquy?

Soliloquy: 
- A dramatic technique of speaking alone on stage. 
- নাটকের কোন চরিত্র যখন নিজেই নিজের সাথে কথা বলে তার মনের ভাব প্রকাশ করে এবং অন্যরা নীরব থাকে, তখন তাকে Soliloquy বলে।
- এখানে মূলত: লেখকের মুখের কথা নয় বরং তার চিন্তা প্রতিধ্বনিত হয়ে প্রকাশ পায়।

Examples: 
- "To be, or not to be, that is the question:
Whether 'tis nobler in the mind to suffer
The slings and arrows of outrageous fortune,
Or to take arms against a sea of troubles"
(Shakespeare: Hamlet, Act III, Scene I). 

- Fair nature's eye, rise, rise again, and make
Perpetual day; or let this hour be but
A year, a month, a week, a natural day … (Marlowe: Doctor Faustus).
