• Persona:
​​- The speaker is not necessarily the writer of the poem or the novel.
​- অর্থাৎ একটি novel বা কবিতার মূল লেখক ছাড়াও অন্য কেউ speaker হতে পারে।
​- The persona is almost invariably distinct from the author; it is the voice chosen by the author for a particular artistic purpose.
​- The persona may be a character in the work or merely an unnamed narrator; but, insofar as the manner and style of expression in the work exhibit taste, prejudice, emotion, or other characteristics of a human personality, the work may be said to be in the voice of a persona.

​- Victorian poet Alfred Tennyson রচিত 'Ulyssess' কবিতার persona বা speaker হচ্ছে Greek hero Ulysses, not Tennyson.
​- The persona of Browning's 'My Last Duchess" is the Duke of Ferrara, not Browning.
