Complex: If you do not pay the bill, your connection will be disconnected.
Compound: Pay the bill or your connection will be disconnected.

• If যুক্ত Complex sentence টি যদি Negative অর্থবোধক হয়, তবে Compound Sentence এ রূপান্তরের নিয়ম:
- If থেকে not পর্যন্ত উঠে যাবে।
- not এরপর থেকে কমার আগ পর্যন্ত বাকি অংশটি বসে।
- or বসে।
- বাকি Clause টি বসে। Example:
- Complex Sentence: If you do not pay the bill, your connection will be disconnected.
- Compound Sentence: Pay the bill or your connection will be disconnected.

• তবে sentence টি যদি Affirmative Sentence হয় তাহলে or এর পরিবর্তে and বসে।
- বাকি সব উপরের rule এর মতোই ঠিক থাকবে।Example:
- Complex: If you tell the truth, I will let you go.
- Compound: Tell the truth and I will let you go.
